My full name is Laurie Ann McKercher-Leach; I have been a teacher in different capacities for approximately 25 years.  I have taught everything from grade school thru and including adult continuing education.  I have been very fortunate to help students at any level achieve amazing results.  I specialize in Vocational Training at Allied Health.  Teaching is a passion for me.  Working with children is always full of surprises!  I have three (3) of my own grown boys and five (5) grandchildren.  I enjoy the West Okeechobee lifestyle, and the quiet that is there.  Fishing, boating, hiking and nature photography has always been something I loved, and West Okeechobee is an ideal place to do these things.  My most significant hobby is motorcycle riding and I own a Harley-Davidson that I ride with groups like the VFW, AMVETS, and the Moose Lodge for fundraising events.  This is my “Wind Therapy”, it helps to heal, and relax my soul.
