Hello, my name is Maggie Blanco. I have worked in the field of Education for most of my career, first, as an educator, then, in the business sector. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. I feel my education has opened many doors, but the one that I have been most passionate about has been the education of our youth. I feel blessed and honored to have the opportunity to work within the Education Department for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) as the K-12 Advisor Assistant. I will apply my work experience and talents to make a positive impact in my service to the families and students of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. While teaching, as part of the history curriculum, I taught Florida Studies to my students, not realizing that one day I would be working directly with the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
When I am not working, I enjoy a multitude of different activities that include bike riding, the outdoors, cooking, and gardening.
