Hello, my name is Alondra Salazar and I am a new employee at the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Immokalee Reservation! I grew-up in Immokalee and truly cherish this place because it holds a special place in my heart. It is my home. I recently became an after-school homework assistant for the students in Immokalee and I am thoroughly enjoying my time with them. I want to show students that they can learn while still having fun. I attended high school in Immokalee and tutored students after school as well. I love seeing the students come to me for help and seeing them understand their homework and develop a greater grasp of what they are learning.
Each day, I look forward to providing students with the support they require in order to be successful as they embark upon their educational journeys. I want every student to find their strengths, realize their potential and to show them that they can be whatever they aspire to become.
